My name is Cristian. I'm an English teacher in Takko (田子町), Aomori, working under the JET Programme. I have a background in IT and love making websites, and right now I'm building an English guide to my town.クリスチャンと申します。 JETプログラムで、青森県の田子町（たっこまち）で英語を教えています。 ITの仕事をしていた経験があり、ウェブサイト作りが大好きです。今は、町の英語ガイドを作っています。

Beyond a town guide, this site is where I keep the English games and tools I use in class. Many other English teachers in Japan use them too, after I shared the site with them. I also add fun little features as I explore web development, like this train.このサイトは町のガイドだけでなく、授業で使う英語のゲームやツールを置いている場所でもあります。 サイトを紹介したところ、日本の他の英語の先生たちも使ってくれています。 ウェブ開発を学びながら、こんな電車のような楽しい仕掛けも少しずつ追加しています。

I built this site in my free time as a learning project, as something useful for my teaching, and as a way to share and preserve my town. Right now I'm working on an online dictionary for our local dialect, Takko-ben. This one means a lot to me. Every year fewer people speak it, and I want to leave a record of it that lasts.このサイトは、学びのプロジェクトとして、自分の授業に役立つものとして、そして町を伝え残す方法として、 空いた時間に作りました。今は、地元の方言「田子弁（たっこべん）」のオンライン辞書を作っています。 これは私にとって特別な思いのあるものです。話せる人が年々少なくなっているので、長く残る記録を作りたいのです。

Visitors can also sign in with a Google account to make their own custom vocabulary sets from the words in these games, and teachers can use them in class with their students. Signing in is only for saving sets, and I store only your Google account name and ID, never your password or email.
