The Garlic Center is the top place to visit in Takko. The garlic steak lunch is the star. What comes with it changes a little every year, but there is always a lot of garlic. My favorites are the black garlic chocolate soft serve, the grilled mackerel rice ball, and the cold noodles in summer. Some of the staff speak English, and you order from a tablet, so you do not need any Japanese. There is a small gift shop too. The restaurant closes early, so please check the hours before you go. If you only stop at one place in Takko, make it this one.ガーリックセンターは田子町でいちばんの観光スポットです。いちおしはガーリックステーキごはん。内容は毎年少しずつ変わりますが、にんにくがたっぷりなのはいつも同じです。私のおすすめは、黒にんにくチョコのソフトクリーム、焼きサバ寿司の焼きおにぎり、そして夏の冷麺です。英語が話せるスタッフがいて、注文はタブレットなので、日本語がわからなくても大丈夫です。小さな売店もあります。レストランは早く閉まるので、行く前に営業時間を確かめてください。田子で一か所だけ寄るなら、ここです。
These hours are for the restaurant. The shop in the same building stays open later, so you can still buy things after the kitchen closes.これはレストランの営業時間です。同じ建物の売店はもっと長く開いているので、食事ができない時間でも売店は開いていることがあります。
